    Job Description

We’re hiring two part-time Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to work together as a sales pod — calling restaurant owners, setting appointments, and building the foundation for a future role in full-time sales.

This role is not easy. You’ll be cold calling a lot — and hearing “no” even more. But you’ll also be learning how to sell from the ground up. If you’re self-motivated, tough, and hungry to prove something to yourself or the world, we’ll teach you everything you need to know. We don’t care if you’ve never worked in sales — we care that you want to learn, that you can handle rejection, and that you’ll show up with a great attitude and a willingness to work hard and get better.

This job is built for someone who wants to earn a promotion. It’s a stepping stone to becoming a full-time Sales Executive (closing deals and making more money), and we want to promote from within.

You’ll be working in person at our Chico office, Monday–Thursday from 9 AM–1 PM. That’s 16 hours/week. We’ll coach you hard, cheer you on, and expect you to pull your weight. You’ll also be expected to travel to 3–4 out-of-state trade shows per year , where we exhibit and meet restaurant owners in person.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Cold calling restaurant owners and managers using our lead lists

    • Following a script (and learning how to make it your own)

    • Booking qualified demos for our Sales Executives or CEO

    • Making sure every lead has a working phone number and email (no ghost bookings)

    • Taking detailed call notes and logging activity in our CRM (we use Close)

    • Checking in regularly with your manager for coaching and accountability

    • Supporting and learning alongside your SDR teammate

    What you’ll gain:

    • $16.50/hour + $30 bonus per qualified demo booked (most SDRs earn $60–$120/week in bonus)

    • Hands-on sales training, feedback, and support

    • Real experience in cold calling, prospecting, objection handling, and booking appointments

    • A fast track to promotion if you perform well — most of our best Sales Executives started in this exact role

    • A chance to prove yourself in a hard role — and build real skills that actually matter

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

You must be able to work in-person at our Chico, CA office — this is not a remote role.

    We’re looking for someone who:

    • Has a strong desire to learn how to sell

    • Is not afraid of hard things — like making dozens of cold calls and hearing “no” all morning

    • Is comfortable talking to people they’ve never met

    • Can stay energized and positive under pressure

    • Is coachable, consistent, and responsible

    • Is self-motivated and internally driven to improve

    • Wants to be part of a tight-knit team

    Bonus points if you:

    • Are taking or have taken sales, marketing, or business classes (Chico State or otherwise)

    • Have worked in a restaurant or are familiar with the hospitality industry

    • Have done outreach work before (phone banking, canvassing, fundraising, etc.)

    • Are early in your career and looking to build foundational sales skills

    • Have minimal outside responsibilities and are able to focus on growth and travel as needed

This job is challenging — but that’s the point. We’re looking for people who want a challenge, who want to grow, and who are willing to put in the reps to get there.

    Additional Information

This is a part-time, in-person role at our Chico office — Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM.

You’ll be working closely with another SDR and a Sales Manager who will train and support you throughout. You’ll also need to be available for 3–4 out-of-state trade shows per year , which require travel and being away from home for several days at a time (travel logistics will be handled later in the process).

    To apply, please submit:

    • A resume

    • A short note or cover letter explaining why you want this role and why you’d be great at it

If you’re reading this and thinking, “I could crush this — I just need the opportunity,” — we want to hear from you.
