Are you driven, personable, and ready to make an impact? Spirit HR is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be the voice that sparks new business relationships. In this role, you’ll connect with businesses to learn about their HR needs, introduce them to Spirit HR’s Professional Employer Organization (PEO) services, and set appointments for our sales team to dive deeper.
You’ll be making outbound calls to reach decision-makers — turning curiosity into genuine interest. As the first point of contact, you’ll play a key role in building trust, creating opportunities, and fueling our company’s growth.
This is an entry level-position with full training provided, offering you a path to grow your skills, confidence, and career in professional B2B sales.
What You'll Do
- Conduct outbound calls outreach to potential business clients.
- Engage decision-makers on company size, industry, and service needs.
- Qualify leads based on company size, industry, and service needs.
- Schedule appointments for our sales representatives to present Spirit HR's services.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all interactions in the CRM system.
- Meet and exceed monthly activity and appointment setting goals.
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, customer service or related field, preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and handling objections professionally.
- Positive attitude, resilience, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods while working at a desk or computer.
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to engage in conversations over the phone.
- Ability to use a telephone headset for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
- Repetitive motions with hands and fingers (e.g. typing, data entry).
- Occasionally lift and move objects up to 15 lbs.
- Visual acuity to read from a computer screen, documents, and small text.
