Job Posting: Sales Development Trainee (Fintech Sales Track)

Location: Remote (Central Time Zone Preferred)

Hourly Rate: $25/hour during training period

Zact, a leading fintech innovator specializing in cutting-edge payments and expense management solutions, is hiring a Sales Development Trainee. This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to launch a career in fintech sales through a hands-on, structured training program.

Over a 3–6 month paid training period, you'll gain deep exposure to fintech, our product suite, and modern B2B sales strategies. If you demonstrate excellence, there may be an opportunity for full-time employment in a sales role at Zact. We're looking for individuals with a high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for both fintech and sales.

What You'll Learn & Do During the Training Period:

• Learn the fundamentals of fintech products, B2B sales pipelines, and Zact's value proposition
• Support SDR (Sales Development Representative) functions including research, lead qualification, and CRM tracking
• Analyze customer data to help identify high-quality prospects and sales opportunities
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on campaigns and outreach strategies
• Help build sales workflows and materials used across the team
• Shadow experienced team members in real customer engagements
• Work in Excel to support lead generation and data validation tasks

We're Looking for People Who:

• Have strong Excel skills and are comfortable working with data
• Are detail-oriented, organized, and methodical in their approach
• Show a genuine interest in fintech and B2B sales as a long-term career path
• Can work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Preferably reside in the Central Time Zone, or can work hours aligned to it

Compensation & Future Opportunity:

$25/hour during the training period (3–6 months)

Full-time offer and compensation beyond the training period will be determined based on performance and business needs.
