About the Role
This isn't just a sales role—it's an evangelist mission. You will be the first dedicated US hire, tasked with introducing Account Verification Services (AVS) to the American banking landscape. You won't just be following a playbook—you'll be helping write it.
You will independently navigate the US market, identifying and opening doors within banks. You'll be the face of the company, moving prospects from initial curiosity to signed deals.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive New Business: Proactively generate opportunities through strategic outreach, high-level networking, and marketing-led initiatives
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of US and dedicated pre-sales engineer to support deal progression and successfully negotiate and close deals
• Evangelize the Solution: Educate the market on AVS and fraud-prevention tooling. Articulate value even while technical features are still being refined
• Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage the complex sales cycle from initial contact to closing, navigating C-level stakeholders and complex bank hierarchies
• Market Intelligence: Act as eyes and ears, providing feedback on competitive positioning and US-specific requirements to shape the product roadmap
About You
• 8-10 years experience selling software solutions to US financial institutions
• Proven knowledge of AVS, account validation, fraud prevention, or payment risk solutions
• Understanding of US payment rails (ACH/Nacha, RTP, FedNow)
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to drive sales from lead generation to deal close
• Ability to engage C-level executives and navigate complex organizations
• Entrepreneurial spirit—comfortable with ambiguity and building from the ground up
• Proactive communicator who anticipates market shifts
• Consultative seller who can translate complex technical features into clear business ROI
