    Job Description

    We’re looking for a Sales Engineer with a strong background in composite manufacturing , including compression molding, bladder molding, and press molding. This role is customer-facing and responsible for guiding clients through manufacturability decisions and developing accurate cost models for quoting.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFQs and develop detailed cost estimates
    • Advise customers on design-for-manufacturability, fiber orientation, tooling, and material tradeoffs
    • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Production to ensure quotes align with capability and timelines
    • Maintain strong customer relationships and support marketing and trade show activities
    • Assist with forecasting, pricing strategy, and technical sales efforts

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years in composites manufacturing with customer-facing experience
    • Strong knowledge of prepreg materials, composite tooling, and molding techniques
    • Proficient in Excel, cost modeling, and interpreting engineering drawings/specs
    • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical tradeoffs and negotiating scope
    • Bachelor’s in Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)
