Sales Engineer – FinTech / Data Solutions
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Eastern or Central time zones preferred)
Are you passionate about blending technical expertise with business impact? We’re looking for a Sales Engineer to join a fast-growing FinTech company that is transforming how organizations manage and access complex financial data.
In this role, you will serve as the technical voice within the sales team, helping clients understand how our advanced data platform can solve their challenges, simplify their infrastructure, and unlock performance at scale. You will work closely with sales, product, and client success teams to design tailored solutions, deliver compelling demos, and guide clients from the first conversation through onboarding.
What You’ll Do
Partner with account executives to identify, qualify, and pursue enterprise opportunities
Lead technical demos and presentations that showcase the value and performance of our data solutions
Translate client needs into clear technical strategies and solution designs
Respond to RFPs and craft proposals that align technology with business outcomes
Support clients post-sale to ensure a smooth implementation and lasting success
Collaborate across teams to share client feedback and continuously refine our solutions and materials
Represent the company at industry events and client meetings as a trusted technical advisor
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, solution engineering, or pre-sales for data-driven or cloud-based technologies
Strong understanding of cloud data architecture and time series or financial market data
Excellent communication and presentation skills; you can make the complex feel simple
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working with both technical and executive audiences
