Position Summary:
PK Industrial Supply seeks a driven and experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in valves and actuation solutions for the Oil & Gas industry. This is a strategic role focused on growing business across key accounts, with the support of a well-established team, trusted brand, and recognized market presence.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, technically skilled, and thrives in both independent and team settings. You must bring a minimum of 10 years’ experience in valve and actuation sales within the industrial or energy sectors. Key Responsibilities:
Drive regional sales of industrial valves, actuators, and engineered flow solutions for upstream, midstream, and downstream oil & gas customers.
Identify and develop new business opportunities with EPCs, end users, OEMs, and distributors.
Work closely with internal technical, operations, and procurement teams to develop value-based proposals.
Deliver on sales targets, margin goals, and account growth objectives.
Provide product selection support and specification interpretation based on project requirements.
Lead technical presentations and customer training sessions as needed.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and project stakeholders.
Prepare and manage customer quotations, contracts, and commercial documentation.
Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends
Required Qualifications
10+ years of proven industrial sales experience in valves, actuators, or engineered flow control products.
Strong knowledge of industrial valve types (ball, gate, globe, check, butterfly), automation, actuation, and control systems.
Existing customer network in the Gulf Coast Oil & Gas market is a strong advantage.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Must be able to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally with technical and operational teams.
Proficiency with basic business tools: Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), CRM platforms, quoting systems.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred, but equivalent experience considered.
