We are looking for a top-notch Sales & Event Designer with passion and heart who would like to join our team and be a part of expanding our success. Compensation: • This is a salaried plus commissioned job with a higher commission for higher performance. There is no limit on how much you can make • Your earning potential is at least $70,000 with wages and commission, assuming you meet minimum sales targets • Starting salary is $45,000 per year, with a higher wage for more experience • You must meet our minimum quarterly selling targets in three months. The first month is considered a training period. After the first month, you start earning commissions Benefits: • You will earn Colorado Mandated Sick Leave • You can contribute to a 401(k)as soon as you join. Responsibilities: If You Are the Sales & Event Designer We Are Looking For, You: • Have a “can-do” attitude and are a go-getter • Know how to build and nurture relationships with all types of people • Excel at networking and relationship-building with customers, vendors, planners, and venues • Must be comfortable talking to prospects over the phone and tech-savvy • Manage the entire sales process: generate leads, handle inquiries, follow up with potential clients in a timely manner, meet with them, and convert them into sales • Have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and be able to communicate with management, prospects, customers, vendors, and event staff • Are organized, able to track your progress, and report your success to management on a regular basis • Are a team player and willing and available to pitch in if a need arises, even if outside the purview of your role You Are Expected To: • Build relationships with the local community and influencers • Grow our brand exposure by participating in wedding shows, vendor showcases, and various industry events • Participate in client tastings, tours, and walkthroughs • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with chefs and FOH staff Qualifications: • Must have relevant experience of 5+ years as a sales professional, preferably in the hospitality field • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills • Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills • Previous hospitality industry experience preferred but not required • Knowledge of computer-based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Other Requirements Our ideal candidate must be able to: • Work evenings and weekends • Enjoy being a team player • Have access to reliable transportation • Lift 50 pounds, and be able to stand for long periods of time • Experience in private events, weddings, and corporate sales is highly desired • A college degree is preferred Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 yearly
