    Job Description

    Role Summary:

    This is a unique and dynamic hybrid role with a primary focus on business development and sales (approximately 70%), supported by hands-on event management and community engagement (approximately 30%). The successful candidate will be a results-oriented self-starter responsible for launching and growing our "Recruiting Leaders US" product across the West Coast. This role requires a professional who is not only skilled at closing B2B sales but is also adept at leveraging in-person events as a key tool for lead generation, networking, and relationship building.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales & Business Development (70%)

    • Identify, prospect, and acquire new B2B clients for the "Recruiting Leaders US" product within your assigned region.

    • Work with the Global Commercial team to identify existing global clients that may be applicable to the US market.

    • Build and manage a sales pipeline from initial contact to deal closure, ensuring all activities are accurately tracked in our CRM system.

    • Negotiate contracts and close new business to meet or exceed targets.

    • Maintain detailed records of sales prospecting activity and other related tasks.

    • Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers to drive repeat business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities for future events and expanded partnerships

    Event & Relationship Management (30%)

    • Work closely with the Community Manager and the RLUS (Recruiting Leaders, US) community to build trust and loyalty across the brand and highlight areas of opportunity.

    • Working closely with the RL Global Event Manager and their dedicated RL events team to ensure global growth of the brand and provide feedback from a local market perspective.

    • Act as a company representative at various recruitment events and industry meetings, cultivating a positive brand image.

    • Strategically attend events to network with attendees and generate high-quality leads for the sales pipeline.

    • Assist with event logistics and coordination as needed, ensuring all events run smoothly and successfully.

    • Gather feedback from event participants and communicate their needs and insights to the broader team.

    • Work closely with the Community Manager and the RLUS (Recruiting Leaders, US) community to build trust and loyalty across the brand and highlight areas of opportunity.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story about a product or brand.

    • Proficiency with CRM software (such as hubspot or sales navigator) is required to manage client records and sales activities.

    • Must be a self-starter who thrives in an autonomous, remote work environment.

    • Willingness to travel frequently to events and client visits within region with occasional travel to attend events in other areas/regions where necessary
