If you love connecting with restaurants and chefs, we have a position for you. This position will include both inside sales and outside sales in the food service world. We are a 38-year-old food service sales agency that has been bringing quality brands and products to West Texas. We are looking for a competitive, sales-driven, and highly-motivated field sales representative to join our team. You will work with customers showing products, answering questions, and offering solutions to drive sales. Will work with key clients to introduce products, support current business, and grow sales. The ideal candidate knows how to get the sale, leaning into their strong communication and interpersonal skills to convert potential customers into new clients. Responsibilities: • Study and research local market trends and competitor activity to discover potential leads • Service, sell and follow up with existing customer base • Prospect and develop new business to grow sales and meet sales goals required by vendors • Participate in distributor sales meetings and food shows • Ability to make oral presentations to introduce new products and promotions • Highly effective oral and written communication • Proficiency working in Microsoft Office Suite • Must be able to lift heavy product and stand for long periods of time during food shows. • Travel as needed to customer locations, meetings, and training. This may include overnight and weekends. • Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record for the last two years. Qualifications: • Familiarity with the food service industry. • 2 or more years of experience in sales • This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role • High school diploma or GED, and bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred • Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities • Outstanding organizational skills and time management Compensation: $50,000-$80,000
