    Digital Solutions Sales Executive – IT Consulting & MarTech

    Location: Schaumburg, IL (Hybrid – 3 days in office) Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 Base | $150,000+ OTE Employment Type: Full-Time

    About the Role

    We are looking for a driven, technically fluent Digital Solutions Sales Executive to join our growing team and own new business development across our IT Consulting Services and Marketing Technology (MarTech) practices. This is a hunter-oriented role — you'll identify, pursue, and close net-new clients across mid-market and enterprise segments.     What You'll Do

    Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and cold outreach to discovery, solution positioning, proposal, and close

    Generate your own pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, and industry events

    Sell a portfolio of IT consulting services including application development, digital transformation, managed services, cloud solutions, and IT staffing/project engagements

    Position MarTech consulting services to marketing and technology buyers, helping clients implement, optimize, and scale their digital experience platforms

    Partner with technical delivery leads and pre-sales architects to craft compelling, solution-oriented proposals

    Translate complex client business challenges into actionable consulting engagements

    Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite, VP, and Director-level decision makers across both IT and Marketing — including CIOs, CTOs, CMOs, and VPs of Digital Experience

    Accurately forecast pipeline activity and maintain CRM hygiene (Salesforce or equivalent)

    Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets

    Represent the company at local and regional industry events in the Chicagoland area

    What You Bring

    Required Experience

    3–5 years of B2B sales experience, with a strong emphasis on new business development

    Demonstrated success selling IT consulting services, professional services, or managed services

    Prior experience selling software products or SaaS solutions — you understand how software is built, deployed, and supported

    Exposure to or experience selling MarTech platforms and digital experience solutions (e.g., CMS, CDP, personalization, analytics, marketing automation)

    Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a commission-driven environment

    Experience engaging both technical and marketing stakeholders in the same sales cycle

    Preferred / Nice to Have

    Experience selling Adobe Experience Cloud services or implementations (AEM, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Marketo, etc.)

    Familiarity with other leading MarTech ecosystems such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sitecore, Optimizely, or similar platforms

    Prior work at a digital agency, systems integrator, or consulting firm

    Technical Background

    Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and enterprise IT infrastructure

    Foundational knowledge of the MarTech landscape — how platforms like Adobe Experience Cloud, CMS solutions, or CDPs fit into a broader digital strategy

    Ability to speak credibly to topics such as application modernization, cloud migration, digital experience platforms, or data & analytics

    Comfortable translating technical solutions into business value for non-technical buyers

    Skills & Attributes

    Highly organized with strong time management and pipeline discipline

    Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment

    Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)

    Compensation & Benefits

    Base Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)

    On-Target Earnings: $150,000+ (uncapped commission)

    Work Arrangement

    This is a hybrid role based out of our Schaumburg, IL office. You will be expected to be in the office 3 days per week, with flexibility for client meetings and field activity on remaining days.
