    Uniform Gear is looking for an enthusiastic Sales/Floor lead! We offer paid time off, paid lunch, matching 401K, and paid holidays (unlike most retail stores, we are closed for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas)!

    This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service. This role focuses on building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a professional experience. This role follows orders from the initial fitting through order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is service-driven, detail-oriented, excellent with phone/email communication and familiar with customization.

    Responsibilities:

    Drive customer service excellence to every aspect of the store, including store appearance, display of merchandise, product placement, story layout, and selling procedures

    Supports an environment of teamwork and trust

    Directs sales team

    Manages retail inventory

    Helps retail and commercial customers

    Fix minor computer/printer issues

    Handle retail customer issues, questions, and concerns

    Execute inventory counting

    Answer Phones

    Communicates heavily with General/Assistant Manager

    Assist customers with custom orders

    Assist Commercial Sales with uniform measuring, data entry and pick-ups

    Monitor stock and inventory, and perform quality assurance of merchandise on a regular basis

    Create inventory pos/check on inventory pos/oversee rush orders for retail customers

    Qualifications for Assistant Store Manager:

    Public Safety Uniform Sales preferred but not required Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education

    2 years of retail clothing sales/sales lead position

    Experience directing staff

    Work-related references

    Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills

    Experience with interviewing, hiring, and evaluating candidates, and assessing employee performance

    Basic math skills sufficient to complete orders, calculate inventory, and manage cash registers

    Able to give clear directions and set expectations for staff

    Demonstrated ability to lead by example

    Must work on-site

    Must be able to stand for multiple hours at a time

    Climbing small ladder, bending, reaching, squatting

    Must be able to read and comprehend written/verbal orders

    Must be able to communicate efficiently in English

    Must be capable of only taking one meal period per day

    Must be able to work between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday
