    Role Summary

    Katz Coffee, the leading specialty coffee roaster in Texas, is seeking a motivated Sales Hunter to grow our presence in the Houston Metro. From first cold call to first cup served, you’ll be the catalyst for new partnerships across Houston’s restaurants, coffeeshops, and offices.

Now shipping our liquid love all over the US, we specialize in small-batch, custom roasting, with a focus on sourcing the finest coffee beans from farmers around the world. Our ultimate goal is to achieve perfection in every cup.

    Responsibilities

    Drive New Business: by prospecting and closing new accounts across Houston

    Develop Long-Term Relationships with customers through consultative sales and consistent follow-up

    Prospect: Build and manage a qualified pipeline using CRM tools and reporting dashboards

    Track activities and results through CRM, account notes, sales reports, and forecasting tools

    Educate customers on our coffee offerings, equipment solutions, and service programs

    Product Expertise: Stay up-to-date on all our coffee blends, brewing methods, and equipment to provide tailored recommendations.

    Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, production and logistics to ensure exceptional client experience.

    Represent Katz Coffee at events, demos, and industry functions (occasional evenings/weekends)

    Meet or exceed KPIs including revenue growth, volume targets, and new customer acquisition

    Qualifications

    Proven experience in sales, ideally in foodservice, beverage, or hospitality

    Self-starter with a “hunter” mindset—you’re energized by cold calling, pitching, and closing

    Strong communication and relationship-building skills, in person and over the phone

    Highly organized and able to manage a sales territory independently

    Proficiency with CRM tools and sales reporting (we use HubSpot, but experience with any CRM is a plus)

    Comfortable with technology (Excel, email, mobile tools) and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
