    We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our team as a Sales Intern. This role will involve various responsibilities, including prospecting for new clients, conducting market research to identify potential clients, developing new sales outreach programs, preparing proposals, joining sales on calls and engaging with customers to understand their needs and preferences. The ideal candidate will have desire to work in software sales, some sales experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of software technologies, and a proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving sales targets and fostering customer relationships.

    Primary position responsibilities include:

    • Prospect for new leads and potential clients through online research, industry directories, and social media platforms.
    • Build and maintain organized contact lists to support targeted outreach and sales campaigns.
    • Update and manage CRM data to ensure accurate tracking of leads, communications, and sales pipeline activity.
    • Assist in developing and testing new outreach programs to engage prospects and improve lead conversion.
    • Join sales team on client and reseller calls to observe, take notes, and support follow-up actions.
    • Support quoting processes and identify potential new resellers to expand distribution channels and market reach.
    • Prepare sales presentations, quotations for clients.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and promotional materials.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Currently enrolled in technical school or college
    • Major in business, marketing, sales or related field.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Eagerness to learn about software products and software sales.
    • Desire to learn about global ecommerce, online payments, and subscription sales.
    • Availability to work full-time in office environment.

    Internship Details & Benefits:

    • Full-time, temporary internship (based in our Minneapolis office)
    • $16.00 – $20.00/hour
    • 100% employer-paid parking or bus pass
    • One hour of time off accrued and available to take for every 30 hours worked.
