    Role Overview

    The Assistant Studio Manager is responsible for driving studio growth through new member acquisition, lead conversion, community outreach, and sales team leadership. This role owns the front-end revenue engine of the studio and ensures consistent execution of sales systems, follow-up, and local brand presence.

    This is a results-driven leadership role focused on filling classes, growing memberships, and building strong relationships in the community.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Sales & Revenue Growth

    • Own monthly and quarterly new member sales goals

    • Convert leads through calls, texts, emails, and in-studio conversations

    • Monitor and improve lead response time, booking rate, and close rate

    • Actively sell memberships, packages, promotions, and events

    • Track daily and weekly sales KPIs and report performance to ownership

    • Identify missed opportunities and implement corrective actions quickly

    Sales Team Leadership & Accountability

    • Train, coach, and develop Sales Associates to confidently sell memberships

    • Set clear daily sales expectations and monitor execution

    • Role-play sales conversations and objection handling regularly

    • Review sales activity, follow-ups, and performance metrics

    • Hold the sales team accountable to studio standards and conversion goals

    • Build a positive, motivated, and goal-oriented sales culture • Ensure studio cleanliness and presentation at all times

    Community Outreach & Local Marketing

    • Plan and execute consistent community outreach initiatives

    • Build relationships with local businesses, schools, apartment complexes, and events

    • Coordinate pop-ups, partnerships, and referral opportunities

    • Represent the studio at local events and networking opportunities

    • Drive awareness and lead generation outside the studio walls

    • Support social media and local promotions through in-person activation

    Client Experience & Retention Support

    • Ensure first-class experience converts to membership

    • Personally connect with prospects, new members, and VIP clients

    • Support retention initiatives through relationship-building and follow-up

    • Gather feedback from prospects and members to improve the sales journey

    • Partner with the Studio Manager on retention strategies and member engagement

    Systems, Organization & Execution

    • Ensure all leads are properly logged, contacted, and followed up with

    • Maintain accurate notes and pipeline tracking in CRM systems

    • Execute promotions, challenges, and sales campaigns with consistency

    • Follow established sales processes and continuously refine them

    • Maintain studio professionalism and brand standards at all times

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • New memberships sold

    • Lead-to-booked-class conversion rate

    • First-class-to-member conversion rate

    • Follow-up completion rate

    • Community outreach leads generated

    • Sales team performance and consistency

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in sales, fitness sales, or service-based sales leadership

    • Strong communication, follow-up, and closing skills

    • Comfortable with accountability, metrics, and performance tracking

    • Confident leader who can coach, motivate, and correct in real time

    • Self-starter with high energy and growth mindset

    • Passion for fitness, community, and relationship-based selling

    • Classes are full and memberships are growing month over month

    • Leads are contacted quickly and consistently

    • Sales team knows exactly what to do every shift

    • Studio has a strong presence in the local community

    • Revenue goals are met or exceeded
