    Sales Manager – Exterior Building Products - Builders, Homeowners, and Commercial
    Mid-Atlantic Territory - HQ in Baltimore Area

    A privately-held, growth oriented garage door dealer and installer is looking to the future and needs a strong sales leader with experience managing outside sales people and expanding into new customer bases. Their primary business is residential new construction, but they see greater opportunities in the direct to homeowner and in the light commercial markets they want to capitalize on.

    If you have experience managing sales people who are calling on multiple types of customers in the construction supply space - this is an amazing opportunity to work closely with the owner of the company. This is the chance to create the framework for the company’s sales processes and establish true sales management practices. You’ll also be tasked with building a team of sales reps to grow business in the new construction, retrofit and commercial segments.

    The Experience We’d Love To See:

    • Leadership success in B2B sales in “building products” or construction related sectors

    • Past success selling to custom and production builders, commercial contractors, or homeowners

    • Experience scaling a sales team and implementing forecasting, KPIs, and sales ops

    • Proven ability to drive growth and open up new markets

    What You’ll Get To Do:

    • Lead and manage a 4 person sales team across the Mid-Atlantic

    • Build a strategic sales plan focused on retrofit, commercial, and new construction

    • Partner closely with marketing to optimize lead gen and brand positioning

    • Implement performance tracking, CRM best practices, and sales training programs

    • Forecast accurately, manage profit margins, and guide pricing strategy

    • Hire, mentor, and develop high-performing sales professionals
