Their product offering includes a focused range of dependable, jobsite-ready solutions such as framing packages, fasteners, windows and doors, and select finish materials. Built by industry veterans, the organization partners closely with customers to support efficient project execution and long-term growth.
They are seeking a Sales Manager to play a foundational role in launching and expanding their sales efforts. This is a hands-on, field-driven position responsible for developing new customer relationships, managing project-based opportunities, and owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through delivery coordination. The role is based in Atlanta, GA and is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop new business relationships with contractors, developers, and purchasing stakeholders across the Southeast to build a strong project and wholesale sales pipeline.
Prospect, qualify, and manage project-based opportunities, including material packages and project buyouts aligned to customer scope.
Own the full sales cycle from lead generation and pricing through negotiation, close, and order execution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building long-term relationships that drive repeat business and account growth.
Coordinate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Distribution teams to ensure accurate quoting, margin discipline, and on-time delivery.
Maintain pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and opportunity tracking through consistent CRM usage.
Represent the organization in the field at job sites, trade shows, and industry events.
Provide market feedback related to customer needs, product performance, and competitive activity to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in B2B sales within building materials, construction products, or related wholesale environments.
Strong understanding of construction workflows, purchasing cycles, and contractor decision-making processes.
Proven success managing project-driven or high-volume accounts within categories such as framing, lumber, windows and doors, flooring, or hardware.
Demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationships with a hands-on, field-oriented sales approach.
Proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline management tools.
Comfortable operating in a startup or high-growth environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
Compensation:
Base salary to 100k/year
Uncapped commission tied to revenue and margin performance
