Responsibilities: • Provide expert guidance on complex loan scenarios to find a solution and a path forward • Collaborate with loan officers and processors to resolve underwriting escalations efficiently • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage regulations and CrossCountry Mortgage products • Act as the primary escalation point for complex loan issues, pipeline problems, and underwriting exceptions • Provide technical support in Encompass to ensure accuracy and quality of loan files • Build relationships with regional and corporate employees to create a collaborative and solution-oriented environment • Conduct training on various products, programs, and industry topics in an ever-evolving industry • Network and build relationships with future Loan Officers that fit the core values and vision of CrossCountry Mortgage • Recruit, train, and develop Sales support roles Qualifications: • 7-10 years of mortgage experience • Prior experience in a lead position preferred • An active state-specific NMLS license is required • Expert-level knowledge of the mortgage business, including overall mortgage lending processes and internal controls, as well as federal, state, and regulatory requirements/guidelines; valid documentation related to processing mortgage applications • Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong detail orientation and highly organized • Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness • Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service • Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers • Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required Compensation: $120,000+ yearly DOE
