    Sales-Driven Leader at D1 Novi

    Company Overview D1 Training is a state-of-the-art, athletic-based training facility serving youth (ages 7+), adults, and teams.     We’re looking for a Sales Manager who is first and foremost a closer—someone who can walk in and convert leads into loyal members. If you love fitness but live for sales, this is your role.

    Key Skills Required

    SALES: You should be able to walk in on day one and close 50%+ of the leads you sit down with. You know how to follow up, overcome objections, and drive urgency.

    LEADERSHIP: You’re the first one in, last one out. You lead weekly 1-on-1s and team meetings, hold staff accountable, and drive business growth with confidence and clarity.

    FINANCE: You understand the numbers. You’ll manage the facility P&L and meet monthly with ownership to review budget vs actuals, line by line.

    What You’ll Do Own the sales process from lead to close

    Manage all front desk and membership sales activity

    Book and lead VIP sessions that convert prospects into long-term clients

    Drive external business development by building relationships with local schools, travel teams, and businesses to generate leads and partnerships

    Facilitate weekly staff meetings focused on performance and accountability

    Deliver a world-class experience to every athlete, from youth to professionals

    Track and report key metrics, including revenue, retention, and lead conversion

    Represent the D1 brand with energy, professionalism, and pride

    Qualifications

    Associate Degree

    3+ years of sales experience

    Proven ability to out-sell anyone in the room

    Knowledge of gym and retail operations

    Positive, energetic personality with a “can do” attitude

    Willing to lead from the front — first in, last out
