    We're looking for an energetic Sales Manager to support our hotel's group sales efforts across a variety of market segments, including but not limited to SMERF, corporate, sports, association, and other group business. In this role, you'll work closely with the Director of Sales to generate new business opportunities, maintain relationships with existing clients, and assist in achieving the hotel's revenue goals. Responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, conducting outside sales calls, hosting site tours, attending networking events, responding to inquiries, and supporting the sales process from lead generation through contract execution. You'll also collaborate with hotel operations to help ensure successful group experiences for our guests. Our ideal candidate has previous hotel or hospitality sales experience, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, is highly organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: Respond promptly to all group sales inquiries, RFPs, and leads with a strong sense of urgency to maximize conversion opportunities. Prospect for new business through outside sales calls, networking, client visits, cold calling, and community involvement to generate new group business. Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key clients, local organizations, corporations, SMERF accounts, and other group business segments. Qualify leads, negotiate rates and contract terms within established guidelines, and close business that aligns with the hotel's revenue strategy. Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Revenue Management team to ensure business opportunities support occupancy, ADR, and overall hotel revenue goals. Conduct hotel site tours, client presentations, and sales appointments to showcase the property's meeting space, guestrooms, and amenities. Accurately manage leads, accounts, and sales activities within the hotel's CRM and brand systems while maintaining organized records and follow-up schedules. Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and community organizations to increase market awareness and generate new business. Maintain strong communication with hotel operations to ensure a seamless transition from the sales process to event or group execution. Stay informed of local market conditions, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and support business growth. Qualifications: • Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required • Outstanding organizational skills and time management • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field a plus • Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000 yearly
