    JOB SUMMARY

    Responsible for leading and managing the CBS ArcSafe sales team. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets, cultivating and maintaining relationships with key clients, and ensuring the overall success of the sales team.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Team Leadership:

    o Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.

    o Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to the sales representatives.

    o Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.

    · Sales Strategy and Planning:

    o Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.

    o Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.

    o Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

    · Customer Relationship Management:

    o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.

    o Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

    o Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

    · Sales Performance Monitoring:

    o Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure the team is on track to meet objectives.

    o Implement corrective actions when necessary to improve performance.

    o Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.

    · Training and Development:

    o Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for the sales team.

    o Stay informed about industry trends and updates to enhance the team's product knowledge and selling skills.

    · Budget Management:

    o Manage the sales budget for the team.

    o Ensure effective allocation of resources to maximize sales results

    May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position with direct sales reports is responsible for holding sales overview sessions (currently once a month) with said employees. Subject matter consists of previous month sales figures, upcoming month goals, market trends, engineering updates, and general business communications.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    · Proven experience in outside sales or a related field.

    · Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

    · Results-oriented with focus on customer satisfaction.

    · Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools with specific focus in reporting.

    · Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.


    **KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED **

    · Strong Computer proficiency

    · Proficiency using e-mail, the internet, Microsoft Office, and other computer tools

    · Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    · Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    · Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

    **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE **

    · High school or equivalent GED certification.

    · Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).

    · Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

    · Previous experience in a regional or territory management role.

    **PHYSICAL DEMANDS **

    · Sales Managers often need to travel extensively within their assigned territory to meet with clients, attend meetings, and visit prospects with members of their sales team. This can involve driving long distances, flying, or other modes of transportation.

    · If the sales territory is geographically large, significant time may be spent driving to different locations. This can involve sitting for extended periods and may include navigating through various traffic conditions.

    · During client meetings, presentations, or industry events, Sales Managers may need to stand or walk for extended periods.



    BONUS/COMMISSION PLAN

    Eligible for commission after successful completion of the introductory 90 days.

    EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

    Employee will be evaluated on quantitative productivity levels regarding the amount of sales that result from their team’s actions, the number of items processed/followed-up, and related activity.

    · The employee will also be evaluated according to customer satisfaction levels as identified by customers through our survey system and other feedback mechanisms. In addition to regular coaching, employee will receive the following written evaluations:

    · Introductory Review -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employee has sufficiently met and performed the job requirements, and will indicate whether employment will continue

    · Annual Reviews – Employee will be given a formal regular annual review, which assesses productivity and demonstrated business skills and accomplishments for the previous period.

    Mon - Fri 8AM to 5PM
