Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining current customers (food service or retailers) relationships/sales as well as building new ones. Meeting with prospoects for new product presentation, promotional planning (i.e. Trade Shows) and product education. Scheduling and attending face to face sales meetings as well a love for talking on the phone. This position is best suited for individual who is passtionate about healthy food products. Responsibilities
Track prospective and existing customers using the company’s preferred CRM from initial contact to closing the deal and beyond
Foster high customer satisfaction with the product buying experience, encouraging referrals and repeat business
Track sales on a regular basis and forecast future sales
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in natural conversation.
Capability to connect with individuals at all levels.
Organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task.
Following up with customers in a timely manner.
Persistence and strength to overcome buyer objections.
Proven successful track record in sales is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Reliable transportation.
Account management experience.
Effective negotiating and selling skills.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is required, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of five years of experience in food sales with at least one year in a management role, is preferred
Valid driver’s license required
Strong working knowledge of the food industry and local, state, or federal regulations.
Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office and other basic computer programs
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required
