We're looking for an active, customer-focused team player with exceptional sales skills to be the next sales manager at our busy hotel. You'll be in charge of developing a sales and marketing plan that includes soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets via outside sales calls, on-site visits, sales tours, and community networking. This energetic leader will be able to enhance revenue by researching local market trends and competition behavior to discover and close business leads. Responsibilities: • Increase new business and accelerate revenue generation by cold calling, on-site visits, and sales tours, as well as engaging your local community network • Study and research local market trends and competitor activity to discover potential leads • Collaborate on creating and planning the department budget with the director of sales and marketing to align overall sales objectives and strategies for the hotel • Conduct yourself as a professional representative of the hotel at various industry tradeshows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the budget and marketing plan • Develop and maintain connections with important group and catering accounts in order to maintain and expand our market share Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED, and bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred • Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities • This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role • Outstanding organizational skills and time management Compensation: $50,000-$60,000
