    Position Overview: Omdia is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Player/Coach Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales team while actively participating in sales activities. This unique role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on sales engagement, making it ideal for a seasoned sales professional who thrives on mentoring, coaching, and driving team success while contributing directly to revenue generation.

    As a Player/Coach Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing the skills and capabilities of our sales representatives, ensuring they achieve their full potential. You will lead by example, joining sales calls, demonstrating best practices, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. This position is ideal for someone passionate about sales development, team leadership, and delivering exceptional results.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Sales Team Development: * Mentor and coach sales representatives to enhance their skills, confidence, and performance. * Conduct regular one-on-one sessions to provide feedback, set goals, and track progress. * Develop and implement training programs focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement. * Foster a positive and growth-oriented team culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.
    2. Active Sales Engagement: * Join sales calls to support team members, provide real-time coaching, and demonstrate effective sales strategies. * Actively participate in prospecting, pitching, and closing deals to contribute to team revenue targets. * Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, showcasing Omdia's value proposition and solutions.
    3. Leadership and Strategy: * Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals. * Monitor team performance and provide actionable insights to improve outcomes. * Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth. * Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
    4. Performance Management: * Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to address challenges. * Recognize and reward top performers, fostering motivation and engagement. * Manage team dynamics and resolve conflicts to maintain a high-performing environment.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, ideally as a Player/Coach or similar position.
    • Strong track record of personal sales success and team development.
    • Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for helping others succeed.
    • Ability to lead by example, actively participating in sales activities and demonstrating best practices.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software; familiarity with IT research solutions is a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).

    The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000 + commission, based on experience.
