    Job Summary

    The Sales Manager is a new leadership position responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, leading and developing a team of Regional Sales Representatives, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with CNC dealers, integrators, OEMs, and end customers. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on sales execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The Sales Manager will report to the CEO and play a key role in professionalizing the sales organization.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership & Growth

    • Create and implement North American sales strategies that support the company’s overall expansion objectives.
    • Establish sales goals, performance metrics, and deliver market intelligence to inform product development decisions.
    • Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events.
    • Partner with Marketing to ensure promotional activities and lead generation efforts align with sales objectives.

    Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, coach, mentor, and manage a team of three Regional Sales Representatives.
    • Run regular team meetings, account reviews, performance assessments, and training programs.
    • Provide hands-on support for complex sales processes and contract negotiations.
    • Hire, onboard, and grow the sales team as the business scales.
    • Foster accountability and continuously improve the team’s sales results.

    Customer & Partner Engagement

    • Develop and nurture strong relationships with CNC dealers, OEMs, integrators, and major clients.
    • Manage key strategic accounts and act as the primary escalation point for important negotiations.
    • Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

    Sales Execution & Reporting

    • Focus on acquiring new customers while growing business within existing accounts.
    • Ensure consistent and effective use of CRM (HubSpot) and sales enablement tools (Lead Forensics, Seamless.AI, etc.).
    • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and timely performance reports to senior leadership.

    Requirements

    • 5–10 years of demonstrated sales leadership experience leading regional or national sales teams.
    • Solid background in B2B industrial or manufacturing sales with a proven ability to drive revenue growth.
    • Strong expertise in cold calling, prospecting, and successfully closing complex, long-cycle sales.
    • Hands-on experience with modern sales technologies, including CRM systems, sales intelligence platforms, and email outreach tools.
    • Outstanding communication, coaching, negotiation, and team management abilities.
    • Self-motivated and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal structure.
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly (approximately 1 week per month).
    • Strong work ethic and proactive, hands-on approach.

    Preferred Requirements

    • In-depth understanding of CNC machines, machine tools, or robotic automation.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • Prior experience managing or working within dealer and distributor networks.
    • Familiarity with HubSpot, Lead Forensics, Seamless.AI, or comparable sales tools.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base salary: $120,000 – $130,000
    • Performance bonus tied to company profitability (3–5% of EBITDA).
    • Company car (mid-to-large sedan) after initial period + mileage reimbursement until then.

    Location

    • Fully remote, with strong preference for candidates based in the Midwest or Central U.S.
