Born to Splay is Arizona’s only natural footwear boutique—a wellness-driven retail experience connecting minimalist footwear with advanced footcare. As part of the Ethereal Wellness family, we bridge the gap between fashion, function, and wellness to help clients move naturally, confidently, and pain-free.

We’re now hiring our first team member—immediately. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing brand from the ground up as a Sales Manager & Footwear Specialist. The ideal candidate is passionate about barefoot shoes, understands the connection between footwear and foot health, and has a strong background in both sales and boutique retail management.

The Role

You’ll begin as a hands-on sales manager, leading the in-store experience while managing day-to-day boutique operations. As the brand grows, you’ll help develop sales strategies, host local events, and assist in building and training a future team.

You will:

Deliver exceptional client experiences through personalized shoe fittings and education on natural movement.

Manage daily store operations, inventory, merchandising, and visual presentation.

Drive sales through education, connection, and authentic client relationships.

Collaborate with leadership on marketing ideas, in-store events, and community partnerships.

Uphold the boutique’s elevated, minimalist, and wellness-focused aesthetic.

You Are

A barefoot-shoe enthusiast who already wears and believes in minimalist footwear.

Experienced in premium or wellness retail (5+ years preferred).

A strong sales leader with proven ability to increase revenue and inspire trust.

Organized, proactive, and confident managing both clients and operations.

Passionate about helping people achieve healthier movement and stronger feet.

Compensation & Schedule

Hiring Immediately (ideal start date: as soon as possible)

Part-Time: Tuesday–Saturday, approximately 22–28 hours/week

Mondays may be required for restocking, operations, or events

Hourly Rate: $20–$23/hour, depending on experience

Commission: Included (based on monthly sales performance and educational client interactions)
