What You’ll Do
As our Sales Manager – Field & Team Focused, you’ll be the driving force behind our sales culture and performance in the Austin market. This is not a behind-the-desk role. You’ll spend 80–90% of your time in the field, working side-by-side with your team—coaching, closing, prospecting, and building the kind of culture where excellence thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Leadership & Sales Development
Conduct joint sales calls, prospecting events, and client meetings with reps
Provide in-the-moment coaching on discovery, proposals, and closings
Actively sell and model best practices through direct customer engagement
Coaching & Performance Management
Deliver 1:1 feedback and tailored development plans
Lead team huddles, weekly meetings, and post-call debriefs
Promote CRM adoption and disciplined sales pipeline management
Strategic Sales Execution
Support reps in territory planning and account strategy
Drive activity targets and revenue goals across mitigation, restoration, and remodel verticals
Collaborate with operations for seamless customer experiences
Cultural Leadership
Build a tight-knit, high-energy, competitive team culture
Celebrate wins, encourage accountability, and lead with integrity
Champion Mooring’s mission and core values in the marketplace
Sales Operations
Track KPIs, analyze performance, and identify areas for growth
Help develop contests, incentives, and team recognition programs
Ensure CRM and reporting tools are utilized effectively
Qualifications
Required:
3–5+ years of sales leadership experience (field-based strongly preferred)
Track record of managing and mentoring B2B sales teams
Strong consultative sales and team development skills
Proficiency with CRMs and sales performance metrics
Charismatic leadership style and a high-energy presence in the field
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Austin market daily
Ideal:
Experience in commercial real estate, property management, insurance risk market, or commercial mitigation and restoration services.
Knowledge of contractual relationships, estimating, collections, and risk mitigation.
Background working with insurance brokers, adjusters, and consultants
