How we will compensate you. You have the power to determine your own income with our commission-based compensation. Across our more than 12,000 diverse agent population, the average income in 2020 was $91,351. Individual agent performance dictates this income. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), and pension. Responsibilities: • Mentor your team, evaluate their sales performance, and help them improve • Identify, seek out, and generate prospects continuously using social media or other marketing tools, and create strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor • Research and provide financial advice and strategies through educational meetings or seminars that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives • Assess each client’s potential life and financial needs to create an individualized financial plan that leverages the products and services we offer • Help clients implement financial recommendations such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products Qualifications: For our 18-month Management Fast Track Program, we’re looking for goal-driven leaders who are eager to build and develop their own unit of financial professionals. Business-minded professionals who are destined to build and lead teams join New York Life with a vision for their career and a strong sense of purpose. You may qualify for the program if you’ve completed your MBA within the past 24 months, have management experience, or have owned a business. Ideal candidates bring a strong desire to build, lead, and impact, along with proficiency in the following areas: • Listening and presenting • Cultivating relationships • Connecting emotionally • Simplifying complex topics • Educating and coaching As a candidate of the Fast Track Management Program, you’ll join New York Life as a financial professional to gain hands-on experience. Once you have met the program requirements, which typically takes 12 months, you’ll be eligible for a promotion to Associate Partner. You’ll build and lead your own team with the support of a Fortune 100 company. Our development managers and product consultants will support you in teaching your financial professionals everything they’ll need to know. Additional qualifications: • Bachelor's degree (Preferred) • Sales Experience: 2 years (Preferred) Compensation: $60,000 - $150,000
