We are seeking an experienced, ambitious Sales Manager to help elevate our business and expand our presence. As a Sales Manager, your primary goal will be to drive revenues and generate new business through proactive efforts and strategic partnerships within the community.
Position: Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Proactive Sales: Embrace a "boots on the ground" mentality, walking the streets and calling companies to generate event sales for social, corporate, and wedding events.
Networking & Relationship Building: Attend company-wide events, community gatherings, and industry meetings to build and nurture relationships.
Event Planning & Coordination: Use your sales and hospitality expertise to develop strong client relationships, understand customer needs, and propose tailored event options.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with key wedding and corporate planners, social contacts, and industry partners to build mutually beneficial partnerships.
Event Execution: Provide accurate event information to internal teams (chefs, planners, and execution crew) through Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring smooth planning and execution.
Menu and Service Oversight: Assist in developing menus for clients, and overseeing event preparations, including equipment, food, and service logistics
Position Requirements:
1-2 years of sales experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
OLCC and Food Handler’s licenses (or ability to obtain both)
Event planning experience preferred but not required
Familiarity with event planning CRM systems is a plus
Availability to work nights and occasional weekends
