Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive business growth while delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Consultant at Pink Zebra Moving, you will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring that each client has an outstanding moving experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Sales:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the residential and commercial moving markets.
Conduct in-person and virtual consultations with potential clients, providing tailored moving solutions based on their needs.
Build and maintain relationships with realtors, property managers, and other strategic partners to generate referrals.
Manage inbound inquiries, respond to leads in a timely and professional manner, and provide detailed estimates for moving services.
Sales Strategy & Management:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals and expand Pink Zebra Moving’s market presence.
Track sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust tactics to ensure growth and profitability.
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial consultation to closing deals and scheduling the move.
Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
Customer Experience:
Ensure that every customer receives exceptional service, from the initial quote through post-move follow-up.
Act as a point of contact for clients throughout the moving process, answering questions and resolving concerns promptly.
Assist in identifying and addressing opportunities for improving the customer experience.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth scheduling and job execution.
Train and mentor junior sales staff or associates, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns and lead generation efforts.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the moving or logistics industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with clients and close sales effectively.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
Ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive company image.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a sales management role.
Experience working in a leadership capacity within a small to medium-sized business.
Knowledge of the Detroit Metro real estate and commercial property markets.
Familiarity with digital marketing and social media outreach.
