Responsibilities and authority:
The Sales & Marketing Analyst is responsible for supporting the Sales department in all day-to-day activities associated with creating and following up on sales quotes, customer support activities, and other responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Manager. The Sales & Marketing Analyst will regularly submit and follow-up on the status of open quotes or as directed by the Sales Manager. The coordination of quote activity includes all communication with the assigned Sales Account Executive overseeing each Account, and others as applicable to ensure the successful completion of the quoting process.
General Duties of a Sale Analyst include the following:
- Receipt of New Quote – Ensure each quote received is entered into the ERP system and that a completion date is established and noted in the system. Ensure that the Quote has been assigned to an Engineer for review (if needed) and follow up with the applicable Engineer to ensure that the quote is completed by the customer required date. Request any additional items necessary to quote the job from the Sales Executive or contact the customer if requested by the Sales Executive and/or Management.
- Quote Follow up – Generate and maintain a Quote follow up log including a date of when the customer should be contacted to follow up on the quote. Coordinate the follow up of the Quote with the Sales Executive and when directed, follow up directly with the customer on status of the Purchase Order. Maintain Customer Responses and Win/Loss data along with any explanation of the loss by customer in the ERP system for further analysis.
- Product/Costing Analysis – The Sales & Marketing Analyst may be asked to support product costing research as defined by Management and other such support as requested to assist in LTA and large project reviews.
- Other Support – The Sales & Marketing Analyst will support any additional assignments as defined by Management.
Minimum qualifications and experience requirements:
- High School or equivalent, College Preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years related work experience.
- Read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to read blueprints helpful.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning / Management software helpful.
- General understanding of manufacturing / aerospace facility / processes helpful.
- Problem Solving Skills/ Good Interpersonal Skills / Ability to Communicate Clearly and Concisely verbally and in writing.
- Have a general understanding of the ISO / AS9100 System and Requirements.
Compensation:
Hourly non-exempt position $25.00/hr. - $30.00/hr.
