Job Description
The Sales & Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting our initiatives, with a significant focus on the coordination and management of OIP events and the creation of engaging branded materials. This position demands a creative and highly organized individual with strong design skills, coupled with exceptional project management and communication abilities. The coordinator will be instrumental in executing national and regional events, managing digital content, and providing crucial support to the sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, coordinate, and execute all logistics for OIP National Events, OIP Regional Events & Study Groups, and OIP Sponsored Events, including venue selection, vendor management, material preparation, and on-site support.
* Manage the scheduling, promotion, and execution of the monthly OIP National Webinar (monthly).
* Maintain and update the OIP Event Calendar, ensuring accurate and timely information is readily available.
* Design and create visually appealing marketing materials for OIP events and initiatives, including invitations, flyers, signage, presentations, and social media graphics, utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
* Coordinate the creation and distribution of the monthly OIP National eNewsletter (monthly), including content gathering, design, and distribution through email marketing platforms.
* Develop and implement the OIP LinkedIn Social Media Strategy, creating engaging content and managing the platform.
* Coordinate the OAP Podcast, including scheduling guests, managing production elements, and assisting with content promotion.
* Manage the upkeep and organization of video and material content libraries.
* Oversee the creation, inventory, and distribution of branded materials.
* Manage relationships with vendors for the production of branded items.
* Ensure consistent branding across all materials.
* Provide basic backend support for the OIP website, including content updates and troubleshooting user login issues.
* Serve as the initial point of contact for user issues related to logging onto the OIP site and escalate as necessary.
* Provide administrative support to the sales and marketing teams.
* Assist in the preparation of presentations and other sales-related materials.
* Order marketing and sales materials/supplies for employees as needed.
* Perform other administrative and support tasks as assigned.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event management and digital marketing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
Experience in event coordination and marketing roles, with an emphasis on design.
Proven expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for creating professional marketing and event materials.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events and marketing projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
Strong understanding of social media marketing, particularly LinkedIn.
Experience with email marketing platforms.
Basic website backend knowledge and comfort troubleshooting user issues.
