We’re looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager who is ready to lead in sales, marketing, and operational management -- someone with the character, ability, and drive to inspire athletes, motivate a team, and assist in growing a thriving business.

    The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving membership growth and helping athletes and adults transform their lives. This role is focused on lead generation and sales. The Sales & Marketing Manager must understand how to fill and own the lead pipeline through paid social media and organic campaigns, follow up with prospects, run consultations, and close memberships.

    Additionally, this role requires that the Sales & Marketing Manager to assist the D1 Coaches in maintaining satisfactory benchmarks for customer retention through ongoing engagement with clients and athletes. This ensures the leads that become members reach the goals they set.

    Duties: Sales

    Respond quickly to new leads

    Make outbound calls and follow-ups

    Learn and execute the D1 sales process

    Schedule consultations and facility tours

    Conduct goal-setting consultations

    Present D1 programs and memberships

    Close memberships and training packages

    Manage sales process through evaluating and understanding KPI's

    Marketing

    Manage ad spend and paid social campaigns

    Fill and execute on marketing calendar

    Organic social media posting and engagement

    Grass roots campaigns

    Attend community events and sporting events

    Create B2B relationships

    Facility Operations

    Assist with daily operations and lead front desk staff

    Drive excellent customer service

    Help maintain a clean and organized facility

    Support events and community promotions

    Assisting with check-ins

    Setting up new memberships in POS system

    Collecting and processing payments

    Providing front desk sales and information

    Assisting with special events

    Managing retails sales

    Maintain retail inventory to assure adequate stock

    Team Support

    Learn scheduling and operational systems

    Develop leadership and business skills

    This Person Can Expect:

    To participate in staff meetings each week covering key data points with their team & moving the needle forward by both informing & inspiring their team to take action on key changes.

    To meet with the facility owners weekly to discuss lead generation metrics via direct response advertising, lead nurture metrics, sales metrics, fulfillment metrics, retention metrics, ascension metrics, LTV vs COA metrics, revenue metrics, overhead metrics, etc.

    To be held accountable in financial meetings to an annual budget that predicts line by line revenue categories, overhead categories, COGS, etc.

    To be poised when meeting & interacting with celebrities & professional athletes and to treat all others with the same level of dignity, respect, and service…this manager must provide the same world class experience to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who walks in the door.

    Special Skills/Tools/Competencies/Experience:

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications

    Experience in dealing directly with clients and providing a positive client experience

    Effective time management and follow-through skills

    Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders of the company (owners, associates, clients, community leaders, D1 leadership team)

    Attention to detail with critical thinking skills

    Positive, energetic attitude with the ability to multi-task and perform a wide variety of roles

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor Degree

    2+ years fitness industry experience

    Strong sales & relational skills

    Effectively prescribe goals-based fitness plans

    Knowledge of gym and retail operations

    Positive and energetic personality with a “can do” attitude

    First one in, last one to leave leadership mentality
