Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, creative, and results-driven Marketing Specialist to lead our local sales and growth efforts. The ideal candidate thrives in a relationship-focused environment, is confident in engaging with new people, has a strong background in digital marketing and community outreach and owns the lead generation and conversation processes. This is a part-time, contract-based role with flexible hours that may include some evenings or weekends depending on event schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Engagement: Follow up with leads through calls and messages to promote our services and convert leads into memberships.
Brand Storytelling: Develop and communicate the brand narrative through compelling content that highlights the 5-star experiences of our clients and the success stories of our programs.
Digital Marketing: Manage and grow our presence across social media platforms. Create engaging posts and coordinate paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads). Confidence in running digital ad campaigns will be considered a strong asset and will increase compensation.
Community Outreach: Identify and participate in local events, establish partnerships, and coordinate outreach activities to promote brand awareness and increase customer acquisition.
Relationship Management: Nurture existing client and provider relationships, ensuring continued satisfaction and visibility of our services. Communicate proactively to show clients they are always “top of mind.”
Creative Strategy: Contribute innovative marketing ideas and execute campaigns to boost visibility and engagement with our target audience.
Customer Support Coordination: Assist with scheduling and registration processes and handle customer inquiries across phone, email, and text channels.
Team Alignment: Coordinate closely with in-gym staff to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience across all touchpoints.
Qualifications
Established experience in driving sales and effectively converting prospective leads into enrolled clients.
Minimum 1 year of experience in internal or external marketing
Proficiency with social media platforms and marketing tools
Demonstrated experience in content creation, community engagement, and/or event marketing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and able to manage projects independently
Experience or interest in the wellness, fitness, or child development sector is a plus
Familiarity with CRM, SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads is a significant plus and will be reflected in compensation
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus
Compensation and Schedule
Hourly Rate: $25/hour
Hours: 20–30 hours per week, flexible based on operational and outreach needs
Availability: Must be available for occasional evening or weekend events as part of community outreach responsibilities
Flexible work from home options available.
