  • Responsibilities

    The Sales & Membership Associate focuses on turning leads into members and making sure everyone who walks through the door has a smooth, positive experience. You’ll handle incoming leads, follow up with prospects, book appointments, close memberships, and help run the front desk. Responsibilities: Sales & Lead Management • Call, text, and email new leads quickly and consistently. • Schedule in-person or phone consultations, free workouts, or trial sessions. • Ask good questions, understand goals, and recommend the best membership or program. • Present pricing clearly and confidently; handle objections and close sales. • Follow up with no-shows and cold leads to get them back in the pipeline. • Keep accurate notes and lead statuses updated in the CRM. Front Desk & Member Experience • Welcome every visitor with a warm greeting and friendly energy. • Check members into classes/sessions and verify waivers are completed. • Answer phones and basic questions, and route calls/messages appropriately. • Help new visitors understand where to go and what to expect. Facility & Admin Support • Complete opening and/or closing checklists (lights, music, cleanliness, etc). • Keep lobby, bathrooms, and common areas clean, stocked, and presentable. • Support quick spot-cleaning of turf/weight/cage areas if needed. • Process payments for memberships, drop-ins, and retail purchases. • Restock drinks, snacks, and apparel, and help with retail displays. • Assist with basic data entry or updates to member accounts. Qualifications: Experience & Skills • Experience with baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, or football is a plus. • Sales experience in fitness, sports, hospitality, or another service business is a plus. • Confident on the phone and in person; comfortable asking for the sale. • Organized and persistent with follow-up—you don’t let leads slip through the cracks. • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with parents, kids, and adult athletes. • Able to multi-task during busy hours (phones, check-ins, walk-ins). • Basic computer proficiency and willing to learn our CRM and booking software. How We’ll Measure Success (Key Metrics) • Response time to new leads. • Appointments booked per day/week. • Show rate for booked appointments. • Check-in accuracy, waiver completion, and member satisfaction. Compensation: $16 - $20 hourly
