Sales Operations Support
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to support a growing commercial team.
You’ll work closely with sales and other internal teams to help move customer orders from initial request through fulfillment. The right person is dependable, proactive, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and takes pride in getting the details right.
What You’ll Do
Review incoming customer orders and ensure pricing, quantities, documentation, and other details are complete and accurate.
Enter and maintain order information within internal systems.
Track active orders and follow up on outstanding items, changes, or potential delays.
Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipping information, availability, and general questions.
Coordinate with internal sales, operations, production, and technical teams to keep orders moving forward.
Prepare quotes, update sales documentation, and assist with order modifications.
Collect and organize customer information related to shipping, billing, taxes, and other order requirements.
Maintain accurate customer and sales information within CRM and related systems.
Help identify missing information or inconsistencies before they create downstream issues.
Support additional sales administration and operational projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's Degree
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
Highly organized with the ability to manage several tasks or requests at once.
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable interacting with both customers and internal teams.
Proactive and willing to ask questions when something doesn’t look right.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, business software, and learning new systems.
Strong follow-through and the ability to keep track of open items until they are resolved.
Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience
Prior experience in sales support, order processing, customer operations, administration, or a similar environment is helpful but not required.
Experience with CRM, accounting, ticketing, order-management, or project-management software is a plus.
Who Tends to Do Well in This Role
You may be a strong fit if you’re the person who notices when a number is off, catches a missing attachment, remembers the follow-up everyone else forgot, and likes bringing structure to a busy environment.
This is not a traditional sales role and does not require an engineering or deeply technical background. Success comes from being accurate, responsive, organized, and willing to learn.
