Position Summary:
The Sales Professional is responsible for selling hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, swim spas, accessories, water care products, and related services through multiple channels, including in-store, customer homes, phone, email, text, virtual platforms, and offsite events. This role involves direct customer interaction, consistent follow-up, and a focus on achieving company sales and revenue targets. The position also includes daily operational responsibilities such as opening/closing procedures, showroom upkeep, and inventory management.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sell hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, swim spas, accessories, and water care products in the showroom and through virtual platforms.
- Engage in virtual and in-person sales consultations and presentations.
- Follow-up on internet, phone, and text leads promptly and professionally.
- Manage and maintain the customer lead database.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns, providing effective and knowledgeable solutions.
- Perform opening and closing duties for the showroom.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and process cashier transactions.
- Complete daily paperwork and prepare end-of-day deposits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready showroom environment.
- Perform routine water care maintenance on showroom hot tubs, cold plunges, and swim spas.
- Stock merchandise and manage inventory levels; order supplies as necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training to build product knowledge and enhance sales performance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2–4 years of relevant retail or specialty sales experience preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Certificates & Licenses:
- Valid driver’s license required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, swim spas, and water chemistry is a plus, but not required.
- Effective communication and active listening skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly and think critically

- Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic sales environments
- Confident negotiation and closing skills
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and independent work ethic
- Comfortable with phone, email, text, and virtual sales platforms

Language, Math, and Reasoning Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, safety instructions, and company procedures
- Skill in writing routine business correspondence and reports
- Comfort speaking to groups of customers or team members
- Ability to calculate commissions, percentages, volume, and geometric dimensions
- Practical reasoning and the ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
- Occasionally required to sit, reach, kneel, crouch, climb, or use hands
- Must occasionally lift and/or move 25–40 pounds
Work Environment:
- Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and outdoor weather
- Moderate noise level typical of a retail showroom
