Business Development Sales Representative
Silver Leaf Landscape | Full-Time | Base + Commission
About the Role
Silver Leaf Landscape is looking for a hungry, self-driven sales rep to go out and build new business from the ground up. This isn’t an order-taking role. You’ll be prospecting, pitching, and closing — mostly new clients who’ve never heard of us. If you like the hunt, this is your job.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cold calling, door knocking, and networking to generate new leads
- Building relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial developers, and residential clients
- Running your own pipeline from first contact to signed contract
- Attending local networking events and industry meetups to get Silver Leaf’s name out there
- Following up on inbound leads and referrals
- Collaborating with the operations team so what you sell is actually deliverable
- Hitting monthly and quarterly revenue targets
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years in outside or inside sales — landscape industry is a plus but not required
- You know how to open doors that aren’t open yet
- Strong communicator, in person and on the phone
- Self-managed — you don’t need someone standing over you
- Comfortable with CRM tools to track your pipeline
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation
- $68,000 base salary
- 3% commission on every sale you close
- No cap on commission
