    Job Description

    As a Sales Planner of Direct Response you will primarily be responsible for supporting AD(s) with all aspects of linear and digital sales efforts on assigned network(s). You will monitor inventory, maintains existing deals, is the liaison between sales and various departments as well as agency & client contacts. You will also provide both sales team and media agency contacts strategic sales solutions for maintaining & growing revenue across our suite of linear and digital products. In addition, you'll act as a mentor to assigned assistant(s) and develops a solid understanding of the nuances of the properties assigned.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Prepare, revise and maintain linear and digital Performance sales schedules that maximize the use of inventory while fulfilling agency/client requirements. This includes creation of client specific presentations, PowerPoint decks and Excel spreadsheets.
    • Liaise with Sales, Planning, Sales Ops, Research and Marketing to ensure sold schedules run as ordered including all media/sponsorship elements. Review inventory reports to manage sellout levels to offer solutions to AD/agencies in order to keep revenue in-house
    • Work closely with Planning to coordinate avails/pricing thresholds
    • Deal Maintenance: work closely with Sales and Commercial Ops to manage all schedules and ensure revenue maximization
    • Account Prospecting: Utilize sales tools to prospect new business and help identify target accounts
    • Account Servicing: communicate directly with appropriate agency counterparts - serve as backup contact for AD.
    • Sales Assistant Mentoring: Develop and guide Assistant(s) in all aspects of their support role on a continual basis
    • Lead and coordinate special projects & assignments, including researching client and account information
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
    • 18+ months related experience in media sales or buying
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research
    • Strong knowledge of media math and audience metrics

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.     Salary range: $70,000 - $75,000 + sales incentive commission
