Southern Scape, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Professional to sell commercial and residential landscape projects. This role plays a key part in shaping the customer experience and driving company revenue through strategic sales execution and strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Sell commercial and residential project services.
Present, market, and promote company products and services to prospective customers.
Set follow-up appointments and maintain consistent communication to support the sales pipeline.
Prepare and execute contracts between the company and clients.
Client Relationship Management
Establish and maintain relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients up to the start of construction.
Gather and input property details and expectations into the CRM system.
Oversee assigned accounts and address client questions or concerns.
Maintain awareness of account service status and proactively address client needs.
Marketing & Lead Generation
Network with local organizations to generate new leads.
Develop and execute creative lead-generation strategies to reach new commercial and residential prospects
Prepare sales and marketing materials for client presentations.
Contract & CRM Management
Collect and document all required client information within the CRM.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales documentation and contract details.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience required.
Highly motivated, energetic, and self-starting.
Goal-oriented and results-driven.
Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine love for people.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable presenting to clients and groups.
Ability to multitask while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Above-average organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of the Hardscape/Landscape industry preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with CRM platforms.
Working Conditions
Combination of office work and field visits to client properties.
Occasional participation in weekend events such as home and garden shows.
Physical requirements include walking properties, conducting outdoor site visits, and navigating uneven terrain.
