    Sales Account Manager Powertrain Systems Clutch Product Range

    Our client has expanded its product range. We're recruiting for a Sales Account Manager. This person will be responsible for growing the business by targeting new prospects in the Off-Highway segment and managing existing accounts. The role will report directly to the Sales Director and will be based in the United States. 

    KEY DETAILS

    • Take the Sales process on and develop a winning strategy to execute the business plan.
    • Develope new business in the Off-Highway segment by identifying new prospects and closing the sales.
    • Achieve sustainable and profitable year-over-year growth as lead negotiator in commercial matters and contracts
    • Promote new product development with several customer ideas and market trends while collaborating with Product Management
    • Communicate WPG capabilities to the customer and customer expectations to the WPG plant
    • Use the Sandler; Pain-Money-Decision methodology when qualifying new leads
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining key long-term customer relationships to maximize future sales.
    • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to ensure appropriate responses to defend against any perceived threat to the business
    • QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
    • understanding of the Off-Highway customers in the Construction, Mining, Military and Utility markets.
    • Past qualified experience in a complex, international, culturally diverse organization
    • Applicants will need to have demonstrated success at managing a Key Account base
    • HAVE a strong technical acumen, the sales process is technical and will involve requests for quotation, senior-level negotiations (at a commercial and technical level) and working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and the Regional commercial teams to ensure the best solution is achieved on a customers’ behalf.
    • Regular Travel is essential to the position (30%+) primarily to customers in North America.
    • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse personalities.
    • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
    • Results orientated with the ability to balance other business considerations.
    • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software essential – particularly Excel and PowerPoint
