  • Responsibilities

    Aftermarket Industrial Sales - We are recruiting for an Aftermarket Sales Executive to establish a new footprint in the rotating equipment (marine, paper and steel industries) and technical services (vibration analysis and condition monitoring. This position requires the management and development of accounts including small OEM's, distributors, fabricators, and service customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Relationship Management

    Develop external sales of our client's company products and services in dedicated regions (N. America)

    Develop customer relationships and win new customers

    > Initiate opportunities to extend and enhance the customer relationship through in-person visits and technical days including attending and exhibiting at trade shows related to powertrain components

    > Responsible for the development of the customer relationships and to facilitate the flow of information to and from the customers

    Aftermarket and Service Growth

    > Contribute to the analysis of North American Aftermarket and Service markets and utilize market research to identify potential new customers

    > Explore the opportunities for field service offering through an understanding of the US industrial driveshaft market

    > Contribute to build up new Service Centers, explore the right location and acquisition opportunities

    > Evaluate and qualify both current and potential customers for agreements/partnerships

    > Ability to work with industrial Aftermarket customers (machine users) and their sales representatives in all aspects of our product lines. Must be able to learn technical product attributes and be able to communicate them to a varied audience in an understandable manner

    > Ability to work with customer Management Teams to effectively to help assigned customers grow their business

    > Support the commercial launch of new products and Services

    Sales Goals

    > Develop a sales strategy for customer portfolio that ensures attainment of

    company sales goals and profitability

    > Commitment to meet customer and project deadlines and the timely

    achievement of sales goals, projects, and communication with customers and management

    > Manage and grow market share at different types of accounts including small OEM's, distributors, fabricators and service customers

    > Prepare, analyze and implement business planning for assigned accounts to ensure that sales growth goals are attained

    > Complete monthly sales reporting

    Qualifications:

    Education and/or Experience

    > Experience in Industrial aftermarket for rotating equipment (marine, paper and steel industries) and technical services (vibration analysis and condition monitoring)

    Other Skills and Abilities

    > Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and related software

    > Technical education or acumen through hands-on experience in powertrain services and rotating equipment

    > Experience in industrial maintenance strategies

    > Ability to negotiate prices, price increases, price changes

    > Expectations are to travel 50% of the time

    > Work in a global team of professionals

    > Must be self-directed and have the proven ability to manage self to achieve goals and targets
