    Our client is a full-service still and motion photography and videography company looking for a Chicago-based Sales and Marketing Manager. The Sales and Marketing Manager’s primary responsibility is to act as the dedicated sales agent for our client, maintaining one-on-one relationships with clients through a boutique-like approach and individualized attention. This role reports to our client and is based in the company’s West Loop studio.

    The Sales and Marketing Manager will be expected to develop new clients and grow partnerships with existing clients through sales calls, portfolio showings, maintenance of client manifestos, sales treatments, client relations including lunches and dinners, and more. This role will also be responsible for taking the initiative to research potential new clients and seek out new business with agencies and food companies. Monthly travel to new markets will be required.

    Additionally, the Sales and Marketing Manager will take the lead in developing the company’s marketing action plan, maintaining a thorough knowledge of all digital marketing activities and campaigns. This marketing action plan may include website updates, print advertising, digital campaigns, industry events and sponsorship, events, and more. The Manager would be expected to stay abreast of current marketing trends in the industry.

    The ideal candidate would have experience as an Account Manager, agency producer/art buyer, or sales associate, and must possess at least three of the following skills in order to be considered for this position:

    • Marketing background
    • 5 years of sales experience
    • Agency account services/management experience
    • Knowledge/understanding of the photography/film industry
