About Our Secondhand Clothing Store.

We are starting a modern secondhand clothing store focused on sustainability, affordability, and community. We're a small, independent shop in the startup phase , still refining our systems and experimenting. If you thrive on variety, love pitching in wherever needed, and want to help build something meaningful from the ground up, let's talk.

**About the Role
** You'll work side-by-side with the owner to keep the store humming. Expect about 75 % customer-facing work to start—intake, pricing, styling, ringing sales, and friendly conversation—with the rest devoted to listings, shipping, store upkeep and various store operation duties. Because we're a small brand with a visual story to tell, you'll also step in front of the camera now and then to show off clothes or appear in short social media videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Open/close and maintain an inviting, on-brand sales floor
• Handle consignment intake, pricing, and consignor communication
• Photograph and list items
• Pack/ship online orders and update inventory records
• Show off select pieces for social posts on social media
• Move and lift inventory or fixtures (up to ~30 lbs as needed)
• Share feedback and ideas as workflows evolve in the startup phase

Who You Are

• Retail-savvy with fashion knowledge
• Friendly, confident, and able to work with minimal day-to-day supervision
• Tech-comfortable (spreadsheets, photo apps, etc.)
• Fashion-aware—you know labels, trends, and quality construction
• Willing to be in front of a camera (authenticity over “influencer”)
• Physically comfortable with the lift/move tasks that come with retail
• Bonus: Familiarity with basic clothing mending or repair techniques—even if you won't be doing the sewing, that knowledge helps our team talk confidently about repair work
• Aligned with sustainability and conscious consumerism

Compensation

• $18.75–$19.75/hr (DOE)
