Position Summary
A Local Packaging Company is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to help grow our customer base throughout Silicon Valley and beyond. This role is ideal for someone with experience in industrial sales, logistics, manufacturing, packaging, freight, or semiconductor-related industries.
The ideal candidate is comfortable building relationships, generating leads, visiting customer sites, and identifying opportunities for custom packaging, crating, logistics, and transportation services.
Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and referrals
Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, semiconductor companies, laboratories, movers, logistics providers, and industrial businesses
Identify customer packaging, crating, and logistics needs and recommend solutions
Coordinate with internal operations and production teams to ensure successful project execution
Prepare quotes, proposals, and customer presentations
Conduct site visits and customer meetings throughout the Bay Area
Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline activity
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions including semiconductor and logistics-related events
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of B2B sales experience preferred
Experience in packaging, logistics, freight, moving, industrial manufacturing, or semiconductor industries is a plus
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Comfortable with both inside and outside sales activities
Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
