    Position Summary

    As a Sales Representative, you’ll play a vital role in growing and supporting the agency. You will assist in prospecting and closing new business, servicing existing customers, and supporting the daily operations of the agency. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to learn quickly, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.

    Please Note: Alfa Insurance agents are independent contractors. If hired, you will be employed by the agent, not Alfa Insurance Companies.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prospect and acquire new business in property, auto, and life insurance lines

    Quote, bind, and process insurance policies

    Respond to customer inquiries and assist with policy changes, billing, and claims support

    Maintain accurate records and documentation of all client interactions

    Collaborate with the agent and service center team to ensure smooth daily operations

    Review applications for insurability and assist with underwriting decisions

    Adapt quickly to new systems and processes in a fast-paced environment

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent (required)

    Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty and/or Life Insurance license within 30 days of hire

    Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly

    Team-oriented mindset with a professional and positive attitude
