    ABOUT THE ROLE

    We are seeking a Business Development–focused Sales Representative who thrives in a 100% commission-based environment and is energized by creating opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals. This role is ideal for a self-starter with experience in home services sales and a strong network within the trades, real estate, property management, or construction ecosystem.

    While JMJ will continue to generate inbound leads, success in this role will come from proactively developing new business, leveraging existing relationships, and expanding our presence with general contractors, property managers, and commercial clients. This role blends sales execution with true business development ownership.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and grow new business through networking, referrals, and relationship-building within trades, real estate, and property management communities
    • Manage and close inbound leads provided by the company while independently generating additional opportunities
    • Conduct on-site consultations and project scoping for residential and light commercial projects
    • Present proposals and close deals for painting, framing, drywall, flooring, and related trade services
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with general contractors, property managers, and repeat clients
    • Track leads, opportunities, and follow-ups using the company CRM
    • Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure smooth handoff after close
    • Represent JMJ Painters professionally in the market and at networking events

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proven experience in home services sales, construction sales, or business development
    • Strong existing network within trades, real estate, construction, or property management preferred
    • Self-motivated and comfortable in a performance-based, commission-only role
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to independently manage time, pipeline, and priorities
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

    BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience selling multi-trade solutions (painting, drywall, framing, flooring, etc.)
    • Background working with general contractors or commercial property portfolios
    • CRM experience and comfort managing a sales pipeline
    • Interest in growing into a senior sales or business development leadership role

    COMPENSATION

    • 100% Commission-Based Role
