Sales Representative (Construction & Roofing) – Your Job Duties
You will work alongside the team calling on both inbound leads provided to you, identifying your own outbound leads, scheduling appointments and visiting the field in order to secure work for construction projects (exterior decay repair or interior renovations, that can include siding, windows, doors, post, beams, decks, stairs, balconies, carports, countertops, cabinets, casework, floors, plumbing and electrical fixtures, tubs, and tile work) and roofing projects (re-roof, roof repair, new roof).
You will:
- Identify new potential customer lead opportunities, calling on the potential customer, developing a relationship, logging activity in the CRM and pursuing work for the Company in both Construction and Roofing (outside sales)
- Receive and follow up with inbound leads (Inside Sales).
- Participate in client acquisition and client retention activities and represent the company brand, sometimes including activities outside of the office and outside of normal office hours (i.e.: sports games, company events, trade shows, golf tournaments)
- Maintain the company sales CRM system, ensuring data is valuable, consistent, and accurately recorded within a timely manner.
- Utilize MS Excel and Smartsheet to track metrics and data regarding customer sales.
Sales Representative (Construction & Roofing) – You Have:
- Prior experience in construction or exposure to construction materials – you have either worked in construction sales, estimating or project management and understand the construction cycle and construction materials (may be HVAC, plumbing, electrical, solar or related)
- Strong Computer skills – you are comfortable navigating a computer including MS Excel and utilizing the CRM system to key in data
- Desire to win, competitive nature and pursuit of earnings
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record – you are able to drive a company vehicle and drive yourself to company events (including occasional night or weekend events)
You might have:
- Knowledge of construction materials for exterior decay repair or interior renovations that can include siding, windows, doors, post, beams, decks, stairs, balconies, carports, countertops, cabinets, casework, floors, plumbing and electrical fixtures, tubs, and tile work.
- Relationships with apartment complex managers, HOAs or related multi-tenant or multi-unit housing

Your compensation will be a base salary of $100,000 to $130,000 base salary plus commission, based on sales production, paid quarterly. Your anticipated OTE is $200,000 +.
