    _ About the Role_

    Jpixx is a well-established creative video agency ready to make our first dedicated sales hire. We’ve grown for 13 years through reputation and referrals — now we’re ready to expand intentionally into new commercial markets and government sectors.

    You don’t need to be a government sales expert, but you do need to be confident navigating new opportunities, building pipeline from scratch, and helping us shape a scalable sales foundation.

    If you’re a relationship-driven AE who loves prospecting, presenting, and opening doors, and you can offer light strategic input to improve how we sell and position ourselves — this role is for you.

    You can create pipeline from scratch and thrive without layers of structure.

    _ Experienced selling creative or intangible services_

    Agency, production, media, digital, SaaS selling — anything where you sold ideas, not products.

    _ Comfortable with government sales (basics only)_

    If you’ve dealt with regulated industries, RFPs, long cycles, or procurement — you’ll be fine.

    You ask smart questions, influence decisions, and confidently present perspectives.

    You have experience closing deals, hitting targets, managing pipeline, and leading deals start to finish.

    Core Responsibilities

    1. Prospecting & Lead Generation (your #1 priority)

    • Identify and reach out to commercial, nonprofit, government, and enterprise prospects
    • Build pipeline through outreach, networking, and follow-up
    • Open doors and get us into the right conversations

    2. Presentations, Pitches & Discovery

    • Lead compelling discovery calls
    • Present capabilities clearly and confidently
    • Help clients understand our creative approach

    3. Proposal, Scoping & Deal Management

    • Collaborate with owners/producers to scope projects
    • Prepare proposals and estimates
    • Negotiate budgets and terms
    • Close deals ethically and effectively

    4. Government & Public-Sector Opportunities

    • Monitor relevant RFPs
    • Qualify which are worth pursuing
    • Support submissions (you won’t do them alone)

    5. Client Relationship Building

    • Maintain communication early on
    • Ensure smooth handoff to production
    • Identify upsell and ongoing opportunities

    Light Strategic Input (Not Marketing Ownership)

    You won't run marketing — but your insights matter. We’d love someone who can:

    • Spot opportunities to strengthen our messaging and sales materials
    • Suggest improvements to pitches, website copy, or case studies
    • Share what buyers care about and what resonates
    • Offer ideas on outreach, targeting, or positioning

    This is guidance , not operational responsibility.

    What’s NOT on Your Shoulders

    You won’t :
    ✘ manage full projects
    ✘ run marketing campaigns
    ✘ write long RFPs alone
    ✘ oversee social media
    ✘ create creative briefs
    ✘ close $1M+ deals without support
    ✘ handle logistics or production tasks

    Your job is to sell , not produce.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    _ Required_

    • 1–3+ years in sales or business development roles
    • Experience selling services (creative, marketing, SaaS, digital, media, etc.)
    • Strong presenting and communication skills
    • Authentic relationship builder
    • Comfortable with government sales basics
    • Proven closer with consistent results
    • Thrives with autonomy

    _ Nice to Have_

    • Experience with longer sales cycles
    • Familiarity with video or creative environments
    • Existing network in marketing, agency, government, or corporate sectors
    • Familiarity with basic marketing concepts
    • Ability to offer helpful strategic suggestions

    Additional Information

    _ Compensation_

    • Competitive base salary
