Hotel Sales Coordinator
Come join our team! We are a full-service hotel in the heart of King of Prussia, across from one of the largest shopping malls in the world! Our Sales & Marketing Department has an immediate opening for a polished, organized, creative, and ambitious Sales Coordinator. This individual will support the Director of Sales and other Sales Managers’ efforts as well as create marketing projects that bring exposure to the Hotel. There will be a heavy focus on being knowledgeable of the hotel's event options via phone or email, conducting tours of the facilities to potential customers, providing event planning assistance, referrals to outside vendors, handling contracts, and being a liaison between third-party service providers and other hotel departments. Responsibilities: • Assist clients by acting as a point of contact and communicating with them by phone and email in response to their queries and requests • Prospect a list of company and referral leads generated through research, networking, social media, special events • Assist sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information • Increase revenues by upselling and providing additional amenities and upgrades to customers to ensure they are entirely satisfied • Generate sales presentations and a variety of additional materials for prospective customers highlighting event space, dining and catering services, and facility amenities Qualifications: • Good organization and time management skills • High school diploma or GED, and bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred • Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities • This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role • Proven track record of sales success Compensation: $24 Hourly
